Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a one day holiday in which people get together and have a feast. Thanksgiving in Canada is celebrated on the second Monday of October. It is close to the harvest season. Thanksgiving started in 1578 when Martin Frobisher had a ceremony to give thanks for surviving the long journey. That was the first thanksgiving in North America. Thanksgiving was also celebrated in Halifax when the Seven Years' War ended in 1763. Thanksgiving became an annual celebration starting in 1879. Also, farmers celebrate Thanksgiving because they want to give thanks for their harvest.

Thanksgiving is a great holiday and there is a lot of good food to eat. One of the great food that is good to eat is turkey. Thanksgiving is a great way to get together with other family members. Thanksgiving is a great way to spend time with the family and a great way to eat large dinners. I personally don't celebrate Thanksgiving but I think that it is a great holiday. My family thinks that Thanksgiving is a religious holiday and that's why my family doesn't celebrate Thanksgiving.

Cyber Bullying

Cyber Bullying is when people are getting bullied, tormented, threatened, harassed or getting embarrassed over the Internet. People talk nicely on the Internet and try to get the other person who they are targeting to like them. Once they know the person likes them, they tell the person that they should meet. Also, they might tell the person that they don't like them and they should stop talking to each other. Cyber Bullying is dangerous because if the person tells the kid that they should stop talking to each other because the person doesn't like the kid, then the kid could get sad and commit suicide. That will really hurt the kid's parents. A way to prevent Cyber Bullying is that we could tell the parents to watch their kids on what they are doing on the Internet. If the kid is talking to someone, this could tell the parents who the kid is talking to.
