The 5 starters for the team are Anderson Varejao, Lebron James, Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Delonte West and Maurice Williams. The best player on the team is number 23 who is Lebron James. Lebron is also the captain of the team. In the 2008-2009 season, Lebron averaged 28.4 points per game.

In my opinion I think that the Cleveland Cavaliers are a great team. They have a great coach who could take the team to the NBA Finals. They have great players on the team like Lebron James who is very talented. They are also a great team because they have many fans who cheer them on when they play their games. Vaisakhi

Vaisakhi is a religious celebration that is celebrated by the Sikhs and Hindus. Vaisakhi is celebrated when the new solar year and the harvest season start. Vaisakhi is usually celebrated on April 13 or 14. Vaisakhi celebrates the birth of Khalsa and the beginning of the harvest season. Vaisakhi is a religious holiday that originated from Punjab and now it is taking place in other areas. Some places that Vaisakhi is celebrated is in Canada and the United States. The southern part of British Columbia which includes Abbotsford, Surrey and Vancouver are well known for celebrating this holiday in which an estimated 200,000 people attend. Vaisakhi is celebrated by parades, prayers, processions and the raising of the Nishan Sahib Flag. During the parades, people set up different tents in which they serve different kinds of food.

In my opinion I think that this is a great holiday in which all of my family attends. On the day of Vaisakhi, there are parades in Surrey or Vancouver where there are a lot of different kinds of food to eat. Me and my family usually attend this holiday every year. When my family and I go to the parade, we usually meet our relatives. We do not only eat food at the parade, we also pray and give donations to the parade. This is a great holiday and I wish that it keeps on happening every year.

St.Patrick's Day

St.Patrick was a patron saint of Ireland who was born in Banna Venta Berniae, Britain. This holiday is usually celebrated on March 17. St.Patrick's Day was originally a religious holiday. This holiday became a public holiday in 1903 by the Money Bank. St.Patrick's Day celebrates Saint Patrick who was one of the patron saints of Ireland. The Irish celebrate St.Patrick's Day by attending parades, wearing shamrocks, wearing green and drinking alcohol. Some of the drinks are Guinness, Irish Whiskey and Irish Cream. We celebrate this holiday here in Canada because we have a population of Irish descent and many Christians as well.

In my opinion, I think that St.Patrick's Day is a great holiday for everyone. People get to relax and have fun with their family and friends. They also get to dress in green and go to parades. People also get to eat Irish food. St.Patrick's Day is not all about celebrating and enjoying ourselves, it also has a lot of different myths and superstitions about it. There are a lot of people who believe in myths and this is why I think that St.Patrick's Day is a great holiday to celebrate.

Mardi Gras

Mardi Gras means "Fat Tuesday" and is celebrated by the Catholics. Mardi Gras is the last day for Catholics to eat as much as they can before Ash Wednesday. They fast for 40 days. Mardi Gras is celebrated around the world but mostly celebrated in New Orleans. Thousands of people go to New Orleans to attend the various of festivities taking place. Mardi Gras is celebrated before Ash Wednesday. This year, Mardi Gras is celebrated on February.24,2009. Mardi Gras is celebrated in a lot of ways. The main event is the Mardi Gras parade. Mardi Gras is also celebrated by festivals, carnivals and ceremonies.

In my opinion, I think that Mardi Gras is a strange holiday. People eat as much as they can before Ash Wednesday. I don't know anyone who can eat a lot of food on one day and not get sick. Also, eating a lot of food can harm your health. I also think that Mardi Gras is a strange holiday because eating a lot of food on one day doesn't mean that you will be able to survive for 40 days. But other than that, it would be fun to eat a lot of food on one day and go to the parades and ceremonies.

Canada defeats Sweden and wins 5 straight gold medals at the WJHC

Canada got their 5th straight gold medal at the World Junior Hockey Championship after defeating Sweden 5 to 1 on Monday January 5,2009. Canada started off very strong by scoring the first goal in 40 seconds. The 5 goals that Canada scored were by PK Subban, Angelo Esposito, Jordan Eberle and Cody Hodgson scored two goals. Joakim Andersson was the only Sweden player to score a goal against Dustin Tokarski, the Canadian goaltender. The Vancouver Canucks draft pick Cody Hodgson ended the tournament with 16 points. John Tavares was named the most valuable player and the top forward for the tournament. Prime Minister Stephen Harper also attended the game and cheered for Team Canada. The attendance for the game was 20,380 which was a single game record for the World Junior Hockey Championship.

In my opinion I think that it was a good thing that Canada earned and got the gold medals for 5 years in a row. That is amazing. I also think that it was very good that Stephen Harper attended the game. He came to Team Canada's practice before the game and told them that everyone in Canada was with them and they should try very hard to win the game. In my opinion I think that Team Canada tries very hard at the World Juniors and that's why they have earned the gold medal for 5 years in a row. In my opinion I think that Team Canada is a great team and I think that they will keep on winning the gold medals at the World Junior Hockey Championship.

Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day is a day to remember the people who sacrificed their lives at the World World 1. It is always celebrated on the 11th day of the 11th month(Nov 11). Remembrance Day started when the World War 1 ended on Nov.11,1918. King George V dedicated this day to remember all of the members of the armed forces who died at the war. We celebrate Remembrance Day because we want to remember all of the one hundred thousand people who died at the war to save our lives. We celebrate Remembrance Day on November 11 by we pause for two minutes to remember all of the members at the war. We also attend ceremonies.

Personally I think that Remembrance Day is a great holiday to celebrate. When we celebrate Remembrance Day, we remember all of the members of the armed forces that lost their lives in order to save our homes and our lives. Also without the sacrifices of the people at war, we would probably be living a different life right now. We are living a peaceful life thanks to the people who fought for us. Remembrance Day is a great holiday to celebrate because without Remembrance Day, we would not remember all of the people who died to save our lives.
